Why I Built Forge Wealth

Most people don’t struggle with money because they’re irresponsible — they struggle because no one ever explained it to them in a clear, honest way.

I built Forge Wealth to change that.

For too long, financial advice has felt intimidating, sales-driven, and full of jargon. People are left feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or afraid of making the wrong move — so they do nothing. Money ends up sitting in savings accounts, forgotten retirement plans, or accounts they don’t really understand.

Forge Wealth exists to be different.

Our purpose is simple:
To give people clarity, confidence, and the tools they need to make better financial decisions — without pressure, fear, or product-pushing.

Whether someone is just getting started or preparing for retirement, they deserve to understand their options and feel supported every step of the way.

My Journey & Professional Background

My career in financial services has been built around one core belief: good financial advice changes lives.

Over the years, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life. From young families trying to get ahead, to business owners and retirees navigating complex decisions about income, taxes, and legacy. I’ve seen how confusing and fragmented financial systems can be, and how often people are left without clear guidance.

Forge Wealth was created to bring everything together — investment strategy, planning, taxes, preservation, and real-life decision-making — into one thoughtful, integrated approach.

I am committed to ongoing education and professional development so that I can serve clients with skill, care, and integrity. Financial planning isn’t static, and neither am I — the world, the markets, and people’s lives are always evolving, and good advice must evolve with them.

My passion for financial planning began in college while I was earning my bachelor’s degree at Eastern Washington University. Like many people, my first real step into investing was opening a Roth IRA, but for me, that simple decision sparked a much deeper curiosity about how money, time, and opportunity work together.

After a few years in the field Whitworth began to offer a Master of Science in Financial Planning. This was a great opportunity for me to go back to school and bring both real-world experience and a strong academic foundation to every client relationship.

Who I Am

My name is Nathan Clark, and I’m the founder of Forge Wealth.

I believe financial advice should feel human. Behind every account, every investment, and every plan is a real person with real goals, fears, and priorities. My job isn’t to tell people what to do — it’s to help them understand their financial lives well enough to make confident decisions.

I work with individuals, families, and business owners who value thoughtful planning, long-term thinking, and honest conversations about money. Some people want help organizing their finances, others need help navigating retirement, investing, or major life transitions. Wherever someone is in their journey, my role is to meet them there and help them move forward with clarity.

Outside of work my beautiful wife Cierra and I have two furry dogs named Kenai and Koda who are constant fun on camping trips. We travel the world to the best of our abilities and spend as much time with family as we can. We love to bring our visions to life by renovating our house and making every project fun.
